Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor control device at low cost which can continue a stable motor drive even when an abnormality occurs.SOLUTION: Current interruption circuits 23, 38 are provided to each phase of a motor control device 1. Disturbance is applied to any of switch elements 20, 21, 35, 36 of pre-driver circuits 12-14. When a short circuit fault occurs due to a junctional destruction and high current flows, the current interruption circuits 23, 38 interrupt the current flowing into the faulty pre-driver circuits 12, 13, or 14 to prevent the fall of power supply voltage.
