Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device with excellent display characteristics by suppressing an increase of a driving voltage of a red organic EL element, in an organic EL display device in which a light enhancing effect is obtained by adjusting a distance from a reflective electrode to an emission position.SOLUTION: Each of R, G and B organic EL elements includes: a first electrode 2 and a second electrode 7; at least one of luminous layers 4R, 4G and 4B arranged between a pair of the electrodes; and a charge transport layer 31 arranged between the one of the luminous layers 4R, 4G and 4B and the first electrode 2. In each of the R, G and B organic EL elements, optical distances Lr, Lg and Lb from a reflection surface of the first electrode 2 to an emission position, emission wavelengths λr, λg and λb of the luminous layers 4R, 4G and 4B, and phase shift amounts (radian) r, g and b at the first electrode 2 are adjusted by charge transport layers 32G and 32B to satisfy predetermined relations.
