Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact arrangement that has quietness and can be miniaturized with keeping magnetic attraction.SOLUTION: A contact arrangement comprises: a fixed terminal 11 having a fixed contact point 11a; a movable contact 20 provided with a movable contact point 20a; a movable shaft 21 provided with the movable contact 20 at the upper end side thereof; a press-contact spring for urging the movable contact 20 to the fixed contact point 11a side; a movable iron core 31 fixed to the lower end of the movable shaft 21; a fixed iron core 30 whose lower surface confronts the movable iron core 31; a return spring 32 for urging the movable iron core 31 downwards; a coil bobbin 41 for accommodating the movable iron core 31 and the fixed iron core 30 therein; a coil 13 wound around the coil bobbin 41; a yoke plate 34 formed of magnetic material through which the fixed iron core 30 is inserted; a stopper cap 36 formed of magnetic material that is disposed on the yoke plate 34 and has a recess portion 36c in which the upper end portion of the fixed iron core 30 is accommodated; and an elastic member 51 interposed between the fixed iron core 30 and the recess portion 36c.
