PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system which suppresses harmful vibration based on the resonance of a stepping motor so as to maintain the transportation water amount of a pump for a long time with high accuracy and excellence and to be advantageous in increasing reliability.SOLUTION: A fuel cell system is provided with a fuel cell 1, an evaporation part 2, a modification part 3 for steam-reforming fuel to generate an anode fluid, a tank 4 for storing raw material water, a water supply passage 8 for supplying the raw material water in the tank 4 to the evaporation part 2, a water conveyance source 80 for conveying the water in the tank 4 to the evaporation part 2 and a stepping motor 82 for driving the water conveyance source 80. A control unit 100 micro-step drives the stepping motor 82 to drive the water conveyance source 80. The control unit 100 changes the step number per one rotation of the stepping motor 82 according to the transportation water amount of the raw material water per unit time and changes the resonance frequency of the stepping motor 82 so as to suppress harmful vibration.
