Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of obtaining a sharp image by repairing defocusing of a plurality of subject images with a relatively small calculation amount even when an image includes a plurality of subjects which are differently out of focus.SOLUTION: A small-area division part 101 divides an input image S10 into a plurality of small-area images S11. A local PSF estimation part 104 estimates a PSF for each small area. A PSF shape discrimination part 105 discriminates shapes of estimated PSFs by the small areas and classifies local estimated PSF S12 so that small areas in PSF shapes of high similarity belong to the same group. A small-area integration part 106 integrates adjacent small areas classified into the same group. Consequently, subject images which are similarly out of focus can be accurately separated. Consequently, subjects are separated closely and distantly, and a subject which is moving is separated from only the one input image without using a plurality of cameras nor an additional device (distance sensor, etc.).
