Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device in which leakage of a developer to a bearing part may be stably prevented for a long period of time for avoiding influence of the leaked developer on the bearing part for a long period of time.SOLUTION: A magnet member 43 is provided so as to surround a rotational shaft 40 of a stirring screw 26 in a position inside a bearing part 41 of the rotational shaft 40 along a shaft direction. A screw blade 44 is fixedly provided on the rotational shaft 40 so as to interfere with a magnetic brush of a developer formed by the magnet member 43 on an inner circumferential face thereof. The screw blade 44 presses the developer of the magnetic brush toward the inside of a developer container 22 in accordance with rotation of the stirring screw 26 along one direction. The developer container 22 is disposed to form, between the bearing part 41 and the magnet member 43, a space 48B intercepted by the magnetic brush from the developer placed in the developer container, and the screw blade 44 is disposed to protrude outward beyond the magnet member 43 on both sides along the rotational shaft 40.
