Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X ring which does not generate cracks in an inner-peripheral recessed-groove central-position between inner peripheral lips although a cross section is small, and is excellent in durability.SOLUTION: The X ring has the pair of inner peripheral lips 1, 1 for rotary-shaft sliding contact, and a pair of outer peripheral lips 3, 3 coming in contact with a fixed seal-groove bottom-surface 11a, wherein the position of a pair of side recessed grooves 7, 7 is made to be eccentrically-located radially outward.
