Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and surely perform switching between the single mode and twin mode of each printing machine adopting a tandem printing system.SOLUTION: Selectively, in a first operation mode, that is, in the single mode, a printing task is processed in such a manner that one printing machine is independent of the other printing machine and in a second operation mode, that is, in the twin mode, both of the two printing machines are connected to each other control-technologically at least and the printing task is processed in common. A switch-on operation unit for switching on at least one printing machine for the single mode or switching on both of the printing machines for the twin mode is provided at least in one printing machine.
