Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an easy and reliable drain of produced water which tends to stagnate in the lower part of a reaction plane in the gravity direction, from the reaction plane with a simple constitution.SOLUTION: A fuel cell 10 comprises an electrolyte-membrane electrode assembly 28, a cathode-side separator 30, and an anode-side separator 32. The cathode-side separator 30 is provided with an oxidant gas passage 34 circulating an oxidant gas in the longitudinal direction of a reaction plane, and the anode-side separator 32 is provided with a fuel gas passage 36 circulating a fuel gas in the longitudinal direction of the reaction plane. The cathode-side separator 30 is provided with a cathode-side drain channel 46 in the lower part of the reaction plane in the gravity direction located between the electrolyte-membrane electrode assembly 28 and the cathode-side separator 30 to drain produced water from the oxidant gas passage 34. |
