Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smart entry system of a vehicle, which is excellent in security and convenience.SOLUTION: The smart entry system of a vehicle includes switch means 1 provided on a driver seat door of the vehicle, an on-vehicle unit 3 for transmitting request signals when the switch means 1 is operated, and a portable unit 2 for transmitting ID signals when receiving the request signals, and comprises a touch sensor switch 11 on a door handle inner side of the driver seat door and a mechanical switch 12 near the door handle. The on-vehicle unit 3 selectively unlocks the driver seat door when the touch sensor switch 11 is operated, unlocks all the doors when the mechanical switch 12 is operated within prescribed time further, and if the driver seat door is locked, selectively unlocks the driver seat door when the mechanical switch 12 is operated once, and unlocks all the doors further when the mechanical switch 12 is operated again within the prescribed time after the mechanical switch 12 is operated once.
