Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutter mechanism of a printer that can prevent a rear end part of a cut print medium from adhering to a movable blade or a fixed blade, and can prevent cut waste from being produced.SOLUTION: This cutter mechanism (5) of a printer moves back or forth the movable blade 9 to the fixed blade 10 to cut a strip-like print medium (P) in a desired length. The cutter mechanism (5) has a paper outlet which is adapted to discharge the printed print medium (P). An interlocking mechanism 12 which operates in association with the movable blade 9 includes an extrusion part 25 which extrudes the print medium (P) toward the paper outlet when the print medium (P) is to be cut.
