Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weight for a golf club, allowing a comparatively heavy weight to be added thereto, easily and surely mountable to a shaft of a golf club such as a patter without impairing appearance, easily removed and further firmly mountable to the shaft.SOLUTION: The weight for the golf club includes a weight body 1, a first fixing means 2, and a second fixing means. The weight body is like a rod and insertable into the shaft of the golf club. Each of the first and second fixing means includes an external screw 8 screwed into the end of the weight body, and an elastic sleeve mounted to a shank of the external screw. The elastic sleeve is held between the head of the external screw and the end face of the weight body, and the outer diameter of the elastic sleeve changes according to the screw-in amount of the external screw. Either one end or the other end of the weight body is formed with a groove into which a fastening tool can be inserted. |
