Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor storage container which enables a user to check a sensor from the outside.SOLUTION: A container 1 stores a sensor 14 having an oxidation-reduction enzyme for oxidizing or reducing an analysis object, a mediator for mediating the transferring of electrons by oxidation-reduction, and detecting means for detecting an oxidation-reduction reaction. All or a part of the container 1 is made to be transparent or translucent, thereby making it possible to check the sensor from the outside of the container. The container 1 may be composed of a container body 11 and a cover 12, and the container body 11 may have a scale 13. Preferably, the sensor uses a ruthenium metal complex as the mediator.
