Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep good assemblability of an element to a laminated ring constituting a transmission belt while suppressing an increase in costs, to reduce stress generated in a ring material during the use of the transmission belt, and to reduce power transmission loss due to the transmission belt.SOLUTION: A laminated ring 2 constituting the transmission belt is obtained by laminating a plurality of elastically deformable ring materials 20to 20. Shot peening is applied to only the surface of the ring material 20of the innermost first layer so that the residual compression stress thereof is larger than those of the ring materials 20to 20of the second to sixth layers. The ring material 20of the second layer has an outer circumferential length longer than an inner circumferential length of the ring materials 20of the third layer, and an outer circumferential length of the ring material 20of the first layer is equal to or less than an inner circumferential length of the ring materials 20of the second layer when disposed at the inner side of the ring material 20of the third layer.
