PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a release film exhibiting good releasability concerning release force, a remaining adhesion rate and the like and having excellent static electricity proofness, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: The release film including a base material film 10 and a release layer 20 has a static electricity proof layer 30 containing a binder and an antistatic agent. The method of manufacturing the same is also provided. Since the release film exhibits good releasability concerning the release force, the remaining adhesion rate and the like and has excellent static electricity proofness, the release film can be effectively used for a product in the IT field or the like.
