Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical glass having a refractive index (n) of ≥1.56, an Abbe number ( ) of ≥58.0, a yield point (At) of <510°C, and good devitrification resistance during forming, and suitable for mold forming such as precision mold press forming and transfer of a fine structure.SOLUTION: The optical glass contains 30.0-45.0 wt.% of PO, 0.1-5.0 wt.% of BO, 0.1-8.0 wt.% of LiO, 2.0-10.0 wt.% of NaO, 15.0-40.0 wt.% of BaO, 2.0-30.0 wt.% of ZnO, and 1.3-8.0 wt.% of YO+LaO+GdO.
