Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector which prevents a terminal from coming off from a housing by the pulling of a female connector housing or the insertion of a female terminal.SOLUTION: A connector 30 is composed of a connector housing (a housing) 10 equipped with an opening 10L and a back surface opening 10R; and a terminal 20 inserted from the back surface opening 10R and held inside thereof. In the housing 10, a side wall opening 10W continuing from the back surface opening 10R to an upper half on a side wall 10S2 side is formed. A tapered protrusion 10M is raised upward from a lower end of the side wall opening 10W, and the terminal 20 is formed with a tapered engaging recessed portion 20M at a part opposite to the tapered protrusion 10M. A tapered hole 10K is formed in a side wall 10S1 of the housing 10, and a tapered protrusion 20K entering the tapered hole 10K is formed at the terminal 20. Therefore, the terminal 20 is made to slide in a lateral direction by the sliding action of the tapered parts and held in the housing 10.
