Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor casing capable of facilitating alignment of respective center axes of a body part and mirror plate parts prior to butt welding, in the compressor casing made by bonding the body part and the mirror plate parts together.SOLUTION: The cylindrical body part (11) and cylindrical mirror plate parts (12, 13) with bottoms of the compressor casing (10) are bonded by the butt welding via cylindrical backing metal parts (1a, 1b). A press-fit part (2a) press-fit into the body part (11) is formed on the base end part (2) of the backing metal parts (1a, 1b) and an inner fitting part (3a) which is internally loosely fit into the mirror plates (12, 13) is formed on the tip part (3) of the backing metal parts (1a, 1b).
