PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball-point pen by which a stereoscopically raised letter or the like, a glittering bright letter or the like and, furthermore, a minute letter or design can be drawn, and to provide a pen point tip for the ball-point pen.SOLUTION: An ink comprises a solid content, a ball 15 has a diameter of 1.0 mm or smaller, the inner diameter of a ball house 16 is larger than the outer diameter of the ball 15 by at least 50 micrometer (μm), and each of arro-shaped grooves 24 has a bottom face and is opened to both the ball house 16 side and an ink conduction hole 12. The two arrow-shaped grooves 24 are formed so that the opening width for the ball house 16 side is 0.2 mm or larger. Then, when seeing a portion opening to the ball house 16 side without being closed by the ball 15 from the tip opening 18 side in such a state that the ball 15 is installed in the center of a seat 20, orthographic projection areas are 0.02 mmor larger at the two respective grooves 24, and opening projection areas of the ink conduction hole 12 side of the two arrow-shaped grooves 24 are 0.02 mmor larger.
