Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing apparatus that can match orientations of images on printed sheets even if a job can not be specified regarding the types of all printed sheets, post processing, or the like, just by using information added to a head of the job.SOLUTION: The printing apparatus determines whether a use of a specific sheet is set to information added to the head of the input job. The apparatus determines the orientations of the images to be printed on a sheet other than a specific sheet in combination with the sheet types that are set on each page through analysis of the jobs for each page and the post-processing setting when it is determined from a determination result that the specific sheet is not set.
