Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve suppression of power consumption and improvement of security at the same time in an information processing system having an input device and a display device physically separated.SOLUTION: A display device 10 comprises: an approach detection unit 13 as a first detection unit for detecting approach of a human body; a display device wireless communication unit 12 as a first wireless communication unit; and a display device control unit 14 as a first control unit for controlling an operating state of the display device 10. The input device 20 comprises: a second detection unit for detecting identification information of the display device 10; an input device wireless communication unit 22 as a second wireless communication unit for performing wireless communication with the display device wireless communication unit 12; and an input device control unit 24 as a second control unit for controlling an operating state of the input device 20 based on detection results by the first and second detection units. Further, the input device control unit 24 has a function of the second detection unit.
