Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain a decrease in color reproducibility near the boundary between images in a two-screen display and a color change between the case of displaying an entire screen and the case of displaying two screens.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device that inputs an image signal from a plurality of image output devices and is able to switch between a two-screen display and an entire screen display comprises: light emission set value acquiring means configured such that based on predetermined correlations between combinations of the target luminance and target color temperatures of the plurality of image output devices and the light emission set value for the back light of the liquid crystal display devices, a light emission set value for the back light is acquired as a common light emission set value, the light emission set value for the back light being determined according to a combination of the target luminance and target color temperatures of all the image output devices that input image signals to the liquid crystal display device; and back light control means configured such that for all the image output devices that input an image signal to the liquid crystal display device, the back light of a display area of an image based on the image signal is emitted at the common light emission value acquired by the light emission set value acquiring means.
