Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gabion which has high flexibility in an adjustment amount of a width and has no reduction in strength regardless of the adjustment amount of the width.SOLUTION: A gabion is constructed by coupling a plurality of units assembled by a partial bottom net, a partial vertical net and a partial width net through fittings. In at least one row of a joining section along a vertical direction of the units, joining edge sections of the units on both sides of the row have no partial vertical net and at least the joining edge section of the units on one side of the row has no fitting joining the partial bottom net and the partial width net. The gabion is capable of adjusting a width thereof by: inserting the partial bottom net of the units on one side of the row between the partial bottom net and the partial width net on the other side where the fittings are not provided; and overlapping the partial bottom nets as well as the partial width nets of both sides of the row.
