Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a resistance heat generating layer of a fixing rotor from being unevenly heated and to improve durability of the fixing rotor.SOLUTION: A pressure roller 32 is brought into pressure contact with a circumferential face of a fixing belt 31 having a resistance heat generating layer 31b on its whole circumference, so as to form a fixing nip. A pair of power feeding members 37 are respectively in pressure contact with end portions of the fixing belt 31 along a direction perpendicular to its rotation direction, so that the power feeding members 37 may supply power to the resistance heat generating layer 31b. The resistance heat generating layer 31b includes a heating portion 31h with a prescribed thickness disposed between the end portions with which the power feeding members are in pressure contact; and power receiving portions 31g disposed in the end portions to protrude beyond the heating portion 31h outward for attaining a larger thickness, and the heating portion 31h and the power receiving portions 31g are integrally formed from the same material.
