Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation angle detecting device capable of improving a nonlinear error and reducing a linearity error.SOLUTION: A hall element 11 outputs a signal in response to change in magnetic flux density due to the relative rotation to a permanent magnet 20. A DSP12 corrects an actual output value corresponding to the signal of the hall element 11 and calculates and outputs a relative rotation angle between the hall element 11 and the permanent magnet 20 based on the corrected value. A memory 13 stores data used in the DSP12. The DSP12 corrects the actual output value based on a predetermined value corresponding to n (n is natural number) correction points preset in a predetermined range and a predetermined correction value corresponding to the predetermined value. In addition, a curve showing a change rate of the difference between the predetermined values of two adjacent correction points of the n correction points approximates a part of a sinusoidal curve obtained by deviating the sinusoidal curve corresponding to the actual output value by 180°. |
