Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular steering column system with a simple structure by reducing the number of components of the system.SOLUTION: On one side (right side) of a telescopic long hole 42a provided in a second bracket 42 of a column bracket, a first tooth 42a1 is provided along a column in the axis direction, and at a side end portion of the head portion 61b of a portion (a rectangular cross-sectional neck portion) 61a to be inserted into the telescopic long hole 42a of a bolt 61, a second tooth 61a1 capable of being engaged with and removed from the first tooth 42a1 in a bolt axis direction is provided. When an operation lever is locked, the second tooth 61a1 is engaged with the first tooth 42a1, and the column bracket and an upper support bracket are fixed. When the operation lever is unlocked, the second tooth 61a1 is removed from the first tooth 42a1, and fixation of the column bracket and the upper support bracket is set to be released. |
