Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize drive control of a rotary electric machine which reduces a time constant of torque response to the smallest possible extent, even under a constraint, in a large-capacity servo motor required of the motor itself to have small rotor inertia, not just a large torque, in order to realize high acceleration, such that the stator shape necessary to realize decided rotor inertia is fixed.SOLUTION: In a rotary electric machine of plural winding type, each winding is composed with a winding group of a class whose electrical time constant is small and a winding group of a class whose electrical time constant is large, in which configuration, a torque command value or a torque command value change signal is distributed to the winding group of the class whose electrical time constant is small preferentially over the other, so that command waveforms supplied to each drive control circuit while the machine is run differ from each other.
