Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hooking device capable of forming a gap between an attachment base and an arm so as to prevent a finger caught in the gap from being injured when the arm is folded to be stored.SOLUTION: Provided is a hooking device, in which a lower end of an arm 2 including an extension arm 3 and a rotation arm 4 is indirectly rotatably attached via a hinge 8 to an attachment base 1 attached to a body W to be attached such as a wall and a column, so that the arm 2 can be kept in a diagonally upward usage state by a linking part 5. When the arm 2 is rotated to move from the usage state to a roughly vertical storage state, a foreign material caught between the arm 2 and the attachment base 1 causes a lower part of the hinge 8 axially supporting the arm 2 to be projected forward from the attachment base 1, thereby allowing a gap between the attachment base 1 and the arm 2 to be formed.
