Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current detector capable of sensitively measuring a micro current even in a disturbance magnetic field.SOLUTION: In a current detector of this invention for detecting a current flowing through a conductor, four magnetoresistive elements 23a, 23b, 23c and 23d connected to one another to form a bridge are arranged with magnetic detection directions thereof in parallel to one another, and conductive elements 25a and 25b extending in a zig-zag manner directly above or below the magnetoresistive elements are serially connected to each other for making a current to be measured flow therethrough. Thus, a strong magnetic field can be caused around each of the conductive elements and generation of an offset voltage derived from a disturbance magnetic field can be prevented, resulting in attaining an excellent effect of accurately detecting a micro magnetic field formed by a micro current even in a disturbance magnetic field.
