Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent articles to be cooled stored in a cooling room such as a cold storage from being dried or freezer-burned and to convert conventional cooling equipment into cooling equipment using natural refrigerant by easing a restriction of the arrangement of an air cooler.SOLUTION: An NH/COrefrigerating apparatus 14 is composed of a refrigerating cycle constituting device using NHas primary refrigerant and a CObrine circulation passage 16 for circulating CObrine as secondary refrigerant to an air cooler 20 in a cold storage 12. The air cooler 20 includes a microchannel heat exchanger 30 and a fan 220, and the microchannel heat exchanger 30 includes flat pipes 306 forming many fine-diameter refrigerant passages 314 and has high heat transfer surface density and high cooling capacity. The CObrine of a liquid phase is sent to the microchannel heat exchanger 30, the total amount of the CObrine solution is vaporized in the microchannel heat exchanger 30, and temperature differences in the vertical directions are generated in the cold storage 12 to form natural convection in the vertical directions.
