Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner which reduces a terminal noise voltage generated at a specific carrier frequency and suppresses the effect of external noise from other electric products in an actual use environment.SOLUTION: The air conditioner 1 is constructed in such a way that an indoor unit 100 and an outdoor unit 200 are interconnected by a plurality of power sources 102 and 103 for power supply and a communication line 104, and power supply and communication are carried out between the units. When transmission data to be transmitted to reception side unit (100/200), its carrier frequency is randomly selected from a predetermined frequency range preset by using pseudo random numbers.
