PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cake peeling device in a filter press in which a filter cloth can be easily replaced and strength of a filter plate does not fall.SOLUTION: The cake peeling device is provided with two or more support rods 3 which are arranged so as to be movable in a mutually approaching and parting direction and which can perform positive and reverse rotation; two or more filter plates 4 in each of which a liquid supply hole 24 penetrating in a plate thickness direction is formed, each of which is arranged at the lower part of each support rod 3 and which can be moved in the mutually approaching and parting direction; a filter cloth 5 which is hung on each support rod 3 in a reverse U shape and covers both sides of the filter plate 4 in a state of holding them therebetween; and a reciprocating driving device 6 which synchronously rotate two or more support rods 3 in a positive and reverse direction. Both end parts 5d of the filter cloth 5 of the reverse U shape are in a freedom state and a liquid supply plate 9 which has a liquid introducing hole 31 facing the liquid supply hole 24 and a liquid falling channel 32 communicating with the lower part of the liquid introducing hole 31 is attached to the filter cloth 5.
