Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor controller which can remove a spike noise component and generate an accurate position detection signal.SOLUTION: A motor controller includes: a spike noise masking circuit which inputs a terminal voltage detection signal generated by comparing a terminal voltage of a brushless motor in which a first spike noise generated when the induced voltage rises and a second spike noise generated when the induced voltage falls are regularly superposed on an induced voltage of the brushless motor with a threshold and generates a position detection signal from the terminal voltage detection signal by masking edges of the first spike noise and the second spike noise according to a regularity for generating the first and the second spike noises; and a motor control unit which generates a control signal switching an energization phase of a stator winding of a plurality of phases of the brushless motor based on the position detection signal. |
