Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid state image sensor in which color mixing is limited, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same, and a camera.SOLUTION: The solid state image sensor comprises: a substrate having multiple photoelectric conversion parts arranged two-dimensionally; and multiple color filters laminated on the substrate and transmitting light in a specific wavelength region toward each photoelectric conversion part. Each color filter has a laminate structure of first and second layers having refractive indices different from each other, and a periodic structure having periodicity in a two-dimensional direction and a different period for each transmission wavelength region.
