Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress swelling deformation of a plurality of cells in a battery module in which the plurality of rectangular cells and holders are stacked alternately in parallel and end plates provided on the respective outer faces of them in the direction in which they are lined up are coupled by a coupling member.SOLUTION: A coupling member 60 extends in the direction in which a plurality of cells 10 and holders 20 are lined up. Its both ends are coupled with first fixing portions 52u and 54u and second fixing portions 53u and 55u provided in a pair of end plates 50 and 51. A distance D1 between the fixing portion and the center line C-C extending through the centers of the cells 10, holders 20 and end plates 50 and 51 in the direction in which they are lined up is shorter than a distance D2 between the fixing portion and the outermost face of the end plate 50 or 51. |
