Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly accurately simulate for the wear of each tire.SOLUTION: The simulation method for the tire wear includes: creating a tire model, which has a finite number of elements, for each of a plurality of tires mounted on a vehicle (Step 100); setting simulation conditions for the rolling motion analysis of the tire model (Step 102); performing the rolling motion analysis of the tire model based on the simulation conditions and obtaining tire property data on the lateral force and longitudinal force developed in the tire (Step 104); calculating forces applying on the tire based on the tire property data and vehicle input data on the lateral and longitudinal force developed in the vehicle which are measured in driving the vehicle on a predetermined travel course (Step 108); calculating wear amount based on the forces applying on the tire (Step 110); and modifying the tire model based on the wear amount (Step 112).
