PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming technique capable of guaranteeing printing sequence and an interval of a first sheet of paper to be rear-side printed and a second sheet of paper to be front^side printed, while suppressing lowering of productivity during double-side printing.SOLUTION: A printing process management section 40 generates a printing process in a page unit from a printing job. A printing sequence management section 41 determines printing sequence so that a printing process of the printing job instructing double-sided printing is executed by an interleaf control. A pre-feeding management section 54 determines whether or not pre-feeding is executed by using a specific pre-feeding condition as for the printing process of the double-sided printing and controls paper feeding timing according to the determination result. A first conveyance control section 51 controls conveyance of a paper from a paper feeding position to a position before transfer. A second conveyance control section 53 controls conveyance of a paper from the position before transfer to a paper ejection position. A paper re-feeding position control section 52 controls standby of paper at a paper re-feeding position and conveyance via the paper re-feeding position.
