Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector enabling press fitting of a plurality of connection terminals arranged corresponding to terminal insertion holes disposed at a plurality of stages in a connector housing all together at one time to improve efficiency of work for assembling the connector and a method of assembling the connector.SOLUTION: In a connector housing 11, the plurality of terminal insertion holes 12 are arranged at the plurality of stages so that positions of the terminal insertion holes 12 are not superposed on each other between different insertion hole rows. A plurality of connection terminals 21 are formed as an integrated terminal 20 including press fitted parts 21a press-fitted to the terminal insertion holes 12, bending parts 21b orthogonal to base ends of the press fitted parts 21a and a connection part 22 integrally connecting the bending parts 21b of the plurality of connection terminals 21 with each other. The plurality of connection terminals 21 are press-fitted to the terminal insertion holes 12 at the plurality of stages of the connector housing 11 all together.
