Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner that defines the distance between an electrostatic atomizing device 5 and a heat exchanger to stably obtain a large amount of electrostatic mist, prevents unnecessary aerial discharge other than generating the mist for a long period of time, and includes a safe electrostatic atomizing device.SOLUTION: In the air conditioner, an end of a projection is disposed at the position of L1>L2≥0 when the shortest length between a counter electrode and the heat exchanger is represented by L1, and the shortest length between the end of the projection and the heat exchanger with a parallel length to the L1 is represented by L2.
