Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device for a wheel which is light in weight and compact and achieves improvement in bearing strength and durability.SOLUTION: A hub wheel 4 is formed of a plate material made of a carburized steel or a pipe material by plastic working. A wheel attachment flange 6 comprises: a flange part 7 formed so as to extend diametrically outward; and a separate pilot member 8 which is formed into a disk shape and is formed by axially extending a pilot part 8c for guiding a wheel and a brake rotor. Bolt insertion holes 7b and 8b are formed at an equal interval in the circumferential direction of the flange part 7 and the pilot member 8. Hub bolts 6a are press-fitted into the bolt insertion holes, thereby the pilot member 8 is integrally jointed to the flange part 7. Near the jointed part of the pilot member 8, of the flange part 7, a drain 29 constituted of a through-hole inclined diametrically outward from the inside to the outside is formed.
