Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conference apparatus which more efficiently cools heat generated due to load applied to a heat generation device and which improves housing property and portability, in a conference apparatus which performs bidirectional communication of voice and image via a communication network.SOLUTION: A tunnel part 41a is formed so as to cover, in a necessary space, a heat generation device 34 mounted to a control board 31 and to extend between the front section of the apparatus and the rear section of the apparatus to take in the outside air in front of the apparatus and to exhaust the air to rear of the apparatus. Moreover, the top plate part 22a of a casing 2 is formed such that the portion over the tunnel part 41a is formed as an upper stage section 22m and the other portion is formed as a lower stage section 22n. A camera unit 7 is provided at the lower stage section 22n in a foldable manner.
