Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a see-through print which allows a user to see an image of the print only from the front and let the user view a seen-through scenery when seeing the print from the back requires an installation environment in which the front face of the print should have more light than the back face, and therefore an inconvenience is generated when using it on a window in a store; the image can be hardly seen when the inside of the store is illuminated brighter than the front face of the print.SOLUTION: A display device includes a base plate having a see-through print image formed on one face of a transparent tabular material, light sources arranged on the side end faces of the base plate, and a holder for holding the base plate and the light sources. The see-through print image is illuminated with the total reflection light propagating in the base plate.
