Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress pressure reduction of a reactor coolant being present within a reactor cooling system when starting up a nuclear power plant.SOLUTION: A nuclear power plant 1 has: an extraction water pressure control valve 16 provided in extraction piping 15A for extracting a reactor coolant C1 within a reactor cooling system 2rcs; and a reactor coolant pressure control apparatus 20 for performing PI control on operation of the extraction water pressure control valve 16 in such a manner that a deviation between target pressure within the reactor cooling system 2rcs and actual pressure within the reactor cooling system 2rcs becomes 0. In the case where the deviation exceeds a predetermined threshold value, the reactor coolant pressure control apparatus 20 makes a value of at least either a proportion gain or an integration time constant greater than that before the deviation exceeds the threshold value. |
