Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a winding method and a winding device of an optical fiber ribbon eliminating the need of highly accurate inversion control in traversing, preventing deterioration of transmission characteristics caused by the optical fiber ribbon contacting with a flange part, and preventing winding collapse.SOLUTION: A method and a device for aligning and winding an optical fiber ribbon 10 onto a winding bobbin 11 are provided. The optical fiber ribbon 10 is wound by being inserted into a tubular guide member 14 and relatively traversed with respect to the winding bobbin 11, and arranging the tip of the guide member 14 so as to come into contact with internal surfaces 13a of flange parts 13 on both sides of the winding bobbin. The tubular guide member 14 is cylindrically formed, and an elastic sheet member made of foamed polyethylene or the like is stuck on the inner wall part of the flange parts on both sides of the winding bobbin 11.
