Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning method and device for a heat transfer tube in a marine boiler that can remove scales by blast cleaning without having an effect on an oxidation film of heat transfer tubes such as a generating tube, a superheater and a screen tube for the marine boiler, and a base material.SOLUTION: The method is used for removing the scales adhering to the heat transfer tube by jetting a blast material to the heat transfer tube for the marine boiler, wherein the scales adhering to the heat transfer tube is removed and the oxidation film formed on a surface of the heat transfer tube is left without being removed by using a plant type blast material or a resinic blast material as the blast material.
