Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain sufficient air conditioning capability for detection elements of an X-ray detector and furthermore to suppress mixing of noise into signals output from the detection elements.SOLUTION: The X-ray detector according to one embodiment, includes a plurality of detection packs 102, a temperature sensor, a plurality of heaters, and a heater control means. Each of the detection packs 102 includes the plurality of detection elements that detect X-rays having passed through a subject and output an analogue detection signal corresponding to the X-rays and is arranged along a predetermined direction. The temperature sensor detects temperature of each of the detection packs 102. Each of the heaters 205 is provided in association with each of the detection packs 102, receives a direct current to be operated and individually controls the temperature of each of the detection packs 102. The heater control means controls each of heaters 205 based on temperature detected by the temperature sensor.
