Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide light measuring equipment for acquiring received light quantity information based on a cerebral site (measurement site) such as a cerebral bloodstream by removing any unnecessary received light quantity information based on a much more shallow scalp site such as a skin bloodstream from a scalp surface to a cerebral site (measurement site).SOLUTION: A probe for light transmission/reception is formed with two fixed holes with a second set distance. A light transmission path for light transmission connected to a light emission unit 2 is arranged in one fixed hole, and a light transmission path for light reception connected to a light detection unit 3 is arranged in the other fixed hole. A control unit 20 acquires the second received light quantity information of the rays of light from the light transmission path for light transmission of one probe for light transmission/reception to the light transmission path for light reception of one probe for light transmission/reception, and calculates received light quantity information by using the first received light quantity information and the second received light quantity information.
