Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a vehicle capable of lengthening the service life of an endless transmission member, by restraining the deterioration in the endless transmission member.SOLUTION: An ECU sets tension T to T1 by passing an electric current to a coil of a belt tensioner when determining that an ignition switch is turned ON (YES in Step S11). Next, the ECU sets the tension T to T=ANe+C (Step S14) by changing an electric current zsupplied to the coil of the belt tensioner when determining that a starter is turned ON (YES in Step S13). The ECU sets the tension T of a timing belt to TO (Step S16) by stopping supply of the electric current to the coil of the belt tensioner when determining that an engine is stopped (YES in Step S15) based on a signal input from the ignition switch.
