PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling liquid supply confirmation device and a cooling liquid supply confirmation method, capable of reliably detecting normal injection of cooling liquid at a timing at which the cooling liquid is to be injected, in an automated induction heating device.SOLUTION: The induction heating device is provided with an energization detector 11 for detecting induction heating by an induction heating coil 4, a receiving member 9 for recovering the injection liquid injected from a cooling liquid injection device 8, and a cooling liquid detector 10 for detecting the cooling liquid injected from the cooling liquid injection device 8 and recovered into the receiving member 9. Execution of induction heating of a workpiece 14 is detected by the energization detector 11, and the cooling liquid recovered by the receiving member 9 is detected by the cooling liquid detector 10 at a proper timing when the induction heating of the workpiece 14 is executed.
