Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an image quality by preventing electric discharge at the upstream or downstream side in the conveyance direction of the recording medium of a portion where a recording medium and a photoreceptor drum are contacted.SOLUTION: An image forming device comprises an image carrier for carrying and rotating a developer image formed by a developer and a transfer part which conveys a printing medium and presses the printing medium to the image carrier to transfer an developer image formed on the image carrier to the printing medium. The transfer part is pressed to the image carrier and is disposed at the downstream side in the conveyance direction of the printing medium above the center of rotation of the image carrier.
